Software update: Pinnacle Studio 9.1.2.15 beta

hotline redirects us to Pinnacle Systems’ FTP server, where a new beta version of Studio 9 can be downloaded. The update is numbered 9.1.2.15 beta and takes up just over 46 megabytes of hard drive space. Like all other 9.x industry updates, this release can also be used to upgrade almost all versions of Studio 9. The changelog shows the following changes from beta versions 9.1.2.14 and 9.1.2.12:

Studio 9.1.2.15b includes the following fixes and enhancements to Studio 9.1.2.14 (This is a specification only, improvements may not operate as intended)

  • Installing Premium content is optional
  • No longer creates multiple HFX start menu items
  • Fixed capture problems with Medion 5044
  • Fixed duplicate frame after transition

Studio 9.1.2.14 includes the following fixes and enhancements to Studio 9.1.2.12b

  • Resolved problem with MovieBox USB driver and WAV file playback in Windows Media Player
  • Non-studio VST no longer prevent Studio from loading
  • Solved ATI 9000 pro and AverMedia capture problems
  • Studio 9 no longer creates DVD title with more than 99 chapters
  • Fixed operation failed error when deleting a clip from timeline
  • Trimming a fade at the start of the timeline no longer causes fade to move to next clip
  • Fixed problem with MMV pixelization.
  • Fixed problems with locking of HFX transitions locked after installing patch
  • Fixed Problems with HFX Chroma Keyer
  • Settings for video effect fractal fire are now working
