Software Update: PicoTorrent 0.12

Version 0.12 of PicoTorrent has been released. PicoTorrent is a relative new player in the bittorrent market. The program is written in C++ 14 and uses libtorrent like many other clients. PicoTorrent claims to be modern, fast and easy to use. Despite the core being cross-platform, the program is currently only available for Windows. The release notes for version 0.12 show the following changes and improvements:

You can now buy PicoTorrent in the Windows Store. It’s available for $4.99 and it’s an easy way to support development. Of course, PicoTorrent will always be available free of charge on the website. This version of PicoTorrent sees a bunch of new features, mostly regarding the flow in the user interface but also the WebSocket functionality which is back as a plugin!
