With phpMyFAQ it is possible to easily create and maintain clear and comprehensive FAQs. The system runs on an environment with at least PHP 5.2.0, a database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle, and a web server such as Apache or IIS. The list of features reports, among other things, that phpMyFAQ can use an ldap server to check user rights. The developers have released version 2.6.13, which makes the backdoor in the code disappear like snow in the sun. This backdoor is said to have been added to phpMyFAQ by a hacker in early December. The main server of the phpMyFAQ Project was compromised in an attack, allowing a rogue version of the phpMyfAQ software to be uploaded and distributed since December 4th. We released phpMyFAQ 2.6.13 for affected users. The forums and our blog are back as soon as possible.
