Software update: PerfectDisk 10 build 129

With build 129, Raxco Software has released an update of its successful defragmenter PerfectDisk 10. This program reorganizes the location and order of the files on the hard disk, so that they can be accessed faster. This results in faster program launches and faster PC boot times. PerfectDisk is suitable for Windows 2000 and higher, and for both the 32- and 64-bit variants. An evaluation version is available from this page are downloaded. Prices start at thirty dollars for a single home license. In this release, some adjustments have been made to make the program work better with the version 11 of PerfectDisk, which will be released in March. Bug Fixes

  • Analyze statistics does not list pagefile on system drive on Windows 7.
  • PerfectDisk terminates when a shortcut to a network shared folder (.lnk file) is selected on “Selected Files” dialog.
  • Offline defrag settings for a drive are not in effect at boot time defrag when “Defragment on EVERY reboot” is ON.
  • AutoUpdGui.exe hangs running under local system account.
