Software update: PassMark PerformanceTest 7.0 build 1021

PassMark Software, known for BurnInTest and WirelessMon, among others, has released version 7.0 build 1021 of PerformanceTest. This program allows a computer running Windows 2000 or later to be subjected to a series of benchmarks. In 28 tests, the six main groups, namely the processor, 2D graphics, 3D graphics, hard disk, memory and CD/DVD drive, are tested as objectively as possible and graphically compared to a number of other systems. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Changes in version 7.0 build 1021:

• Improved support of Intel Sandy Bridge processors.
• Fixed bug in advanced disk test that was causing the random seeking to not use the entirety of the test area in some cases.
