Software Update: Paint.NET 3.5 Beta 4 Build 3591

Spread the love

The fourth beta release of version 3.5 of the photo-editing program Paint.NET was released on Sunday. Paint.NET requires at least version 3.5 SP1 of the .NET Framework and therefore only works on Windows XP or higher. Updating is preferably possible from within the program itself, but downloading is also an option option. In version 3.5, the user interface has been refreshed. For example, there are new icons and it can use Aero on Windows Vista and 7. There are also several new effects, the program starts up faster and the text tool has been completely rewritten. Here’s what’s changed in the program since the third beta:

Changes/fixes since version 3.5 Beta 3:

  • Fixed some miscellaneous small issues and crashes
  • Optimized performance in a few places, especially undo/redo and copy/paste
  • Korean translation has been removed. Sadly, we were unable to find the resources to complete this.
  • Other translations are now complete: Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish
