Software update: ObjectDock 1.04a

The people of Stardock have a new version of ObjectDock online the day before yesterday set† The release is numbered 1.04a and from this server to take down. ObjectDock is Apple’s Windows counterpart dock, in which shortcuts to applications, games and tools can be put. Stardock’s software has the following changes from the 1.04 release:

• Changes to prevent the dock from showing up on top of fullscreen games

• tweak for browse image not saving the changed image for items if it was from a drive other than C:.
• fix for potential crash issue in weather docklet
• more attempts at fixing firefox minimizing issues, we’ll see
• not fixed: always on top issues with screensavers
• updated calendar.png for positioning
• new About dialog
• Repaired all known handle leaks! Major fix
• 100% CPU when using nVidia’s VWM “nView”. This has been fixed.
• Microsoft WordXP would freeze on shutdown until ObjectDock is closed when launched from a link to a word document in the dock. This has been determined to be resulting from a bug in Windows’ ShellExecuteEx function, and has been effectivly worked around by removing running indicators on documents executed from the dock.
