Software Update: NVTweak 1.6.1

There is a new version on the nV News forum appeared of the tweaking program NVTweak. Developer ‘rewt’ has upgraded the software to version 1.6.1 and is as of this server to download as a zip file. NVTweak allows you to adjust (hidden) settings of an nVidia video card. NVTweak also contains the same tweaks that could be activated using Coolbits. The changes of this release can be read below:

Changes in v1.6.1:

  • Added option to Allow NT5 Device Swap
  • Added option to enable/disable Dualview Move Desktop Icons
  • Fixed overflow bug when jumping to [Strings] section in abnormally long INF files (INF Editor)
  • Added option to copy All known resolutions to clipboard (INF Editor)
  • Added option(s) to Jump To resolutions, driver date, and version # (INF Editor)
  • Now prompts to save upon exiting when contents have changed (INF Editor)
  • Added option(s) to view Device IDs and Strings for all current nVidia GPUs (INF Editor)
  • Set default focus to the ‘Enable All’ aka ‘Coolbits 3D’ button
  • Fixed issue with scrollbars not being resized properly (INF Editor)
  • Modified and included a README with the utility
