Software Update: NOD32 Antivirus / Smart Security 5.2.9

ESET has version 5.2.9 of NOD32 Antivirus and Smart Security released. Where the first only protects against viruses, spyware and rootkits, the second program also has a firewall and spam filter. A license NOD32 Antivirus costs about 45 euros, while Smart Security costs 60 euros. However, when a license for several years or more computers is purchased, the price per unit drops considerably. The changelog for this release shows the following changes and improvements:

Enhancement:

• Added info about need of switching SSL filtering ON in a case of filtering HTTPs sites by Parental within Parental Control setup screen
• Several smaller enhancements within Parental Control Setup and management
• Admin of Parental control could choose role for Windows Accound by entering person’s age configuring Parental Control
