Software update: nLite 0.99.4 beta 2
nLite is a program that can be used to modify a Windows 2000, XP or 2003 installation CD. For example, parts that are not used can be removed and programs and drivers that are needed can be added. After that, the whole thing can be burned again to a self-starting CD (nLite only creates the ISO). In version 0.99.4 beta, which we wrote about yesterday, it turned out that there was a bug that could cause the program to ‘hang’. That is why a successor has now been released. Its changelog looks like this:
Changes in 0.99.4 beta 2
- cab extraction sweep for missing files suspended (caused driver extraction hanging for some)
- new japanese and german translations
