Software update: nLite 0.98.4 beta
The nLite program can be used to customize a Windows 2000, XP or 2003 installation CD. For example, unused components can be removed and service packs can be slipstreamed. This creates an installation CD that is up-to-date and with enough space to add your own programs and drivers. When everything has been adjusted to your own wishes, the whole can be written to a bootable ISO file. The program is written in C# which makes it necessary to: Microsoft’s .NET Framework to have installed. Recently, version 0.98.4 beta has been released from nLite with the following changes:
What’s changed from 0.98.3:
- fixed hanging bug if no unattended language is selected
- fixed keeping inf files
- fixed bsod when reducing reduced source (patcher disabled)
- fixed unattended last save
- faster copying from cd
- alexa spyware removed (in post cleanup)
- updated uxtheme and syssetup patch
- new unattended option: System Restore disk percentage
- plus other tiny improvements
