Software update: Ninjam client 0.06

Spread the love

As could be read on the front page yesterday, Justin Frankel, the designer of Winamp and Gnutella, among others, has developed a new piece of software called Ninjam. The program is already called ‘Skype for musicians’. Ninjam offers individual musicians the opportunity to make music with any other musician via the internet. It doesn’t matter whether you play the piano, pluck a guitar, or sing. Since a few days, Ninjam client 0.06 is available for the Windows platform with the following changelog:

Version 0.06:

  • new license (GPL)
  • Jesusonic loading improvements (bug fixes, icons, etc)
  • moved all ASIO code into its own DLL, so that everything else can cleanly be GPL and not require proprietary SDK for compiling.

Version 0.05:

  • grouped remote channels

Version 0.04:

  • now with installer
  • lots of other improvements
  • bundled with Jesusonic effects processing
  • AND MORE!

Version 0.01

  • first public release
