Software Update: Nikon Capture NX-D 1.5.0

Nikon Capture NX-D is photo processing software and offers features specifically designed for raw image post-processing. In addition to processing raw images, the software can also be used to enhance jpeg and tiff images taken with Nikon digital cameras through adjustments to brightness, contrast, tone curves and more. Version 1.5.0 has recently been released with the following changes:

Changes from version 1.4.7 to 1.5.0

• Added support for the Z 7, D3500 and COOLPIX P1000.
• Added the Diffraction Correction feature and updated Latest Picture Control System for the Z 7.
• Added the Color Control Point feature, which can be used to selectively edit brightness and hue.
• Image processing is now faster and consumes less memory for better stability.
• Picture Controls created or modified in Picture Control Utility 2 can now be applied without restarting Capture NX-D.
• Fixed an issue that caused anchor points created by selecting Add Anchor Point from the Levels & Curves palette and then clicking a point in the image to not appear in the channel tones and curves.
