Download NewsLeecher 4.0 Beta 15

Friday the fifteenth beta release of NewsLeecher 4.0 appeared. With this program it is possible to download files from newsgroups in a simple way. NewsLeecher has support for nzb files, has a so-called super search, and can automatically check downloaded files for integrity and completeness and then extract them independently. This release includes improvements to the way items are added to or removed from the queue. The full changelog of this release looks like this:

Improved features:

• Improved the way NewsLeecher handles articles being added or removed from the transfer queue.
• Various internal and visual improvements.

New features:

• The group listview is now always auto-resorted when needed. In previous releases the sort order could be mixed up when using the article filters.
• Fixed bug where user specified speed limits, set via the bandwidth slider, weren’t consistent between relaunches of NewsLeecher.
• Fixed bug where the ‘Keep Opened Articles’ feature didn’t always work.
• Many smaller bug fixes and corrections.
