Software update: NewsLeecher 2.00

After an impressive series of no fewer than 29 beta releases, the final version of NewsLeecher has finally been released. This program is intended for reading newsgroup messages and downloading binaries via Usenet. The developers took a good look at programs like NewsBinPro, NewsPro, BNR, and GrabIt, then took the best points as the basis for NewsLeecher. The result is a program that, among other things, can download from multiple servers at the same time, has support for yEnc encoding and can handle up to 99 threads simultaneously. One of the most important features of this program is the so-called Super Search, a powerful search function that can search in articles from the last fifty days. Version 2.0 is hot off the press and no changelog can be found on the homepage or in the NewsLeecher forum yet.
