Software Update: NewsBin Pro 6.70 Build 4557 Beta 9

A new beta version of NewsBin Pro has been released. With this program files, such as photos, videos and programs, can be retrieved from usenet. It has everything you would expect from a usenet downloader, such as support for multithreading, ssl and autopar. Furthermore, there are extensive filter options and an optional Usenet search service can be used. In version 6.70, among other things, the download engine has been rewritten, the spam logic has been moved to a separate dll and we have said goodbye to Windows XP. The changelog for this release looks like this:

• Changed “Assemble Incompletes” option to force assembly of any file that has at least one chunk downloaded.
• Fixed compaction issue with some rar/par sets.
• Fixed issue with some packets getting lost on very high speed connections. Needs more testing.

Version 6.70 Beta 9 Build 4550

• Fixed issue using remote NZB interface pertaining to certain NZB filenames.
• Changes to improve missing status text for failed list. It’s better but some are still missing when pushed hard.
