Software update: Netscape 8 public beta

Spread the love

Since a long time of silence around Netscape, a new version has suddenly appeared. This time it is the first public beta of version 8.0 of this well-known internet browser. It has anti-phishing technology in place by using a blacklist, support for tabbed browsing and has an RSS feed that shows the latest news. The last feature is not interesting at the moment as it is aimed at the American audience. Netscape 8.0 public beta is based on Mozilla FireFox 1.0 and has the following release notes
