Software Update: NetCaptor 7.2.2

NetCaptor is the founder of using tabs instead of new windows in browsers. Using such tabs prevents your taskbar from becoming cluttered with different windows and besides, it can be a pleasant experience for the user. NetCaptor does require an installation of Internet Explorer on the system because it uses a number of standard components. Version 7.2.2 has recently been released and has the following changelog:

• Fixed problem with BACKSPACE key under IE 5.0 only.

FEATURES

• Send CaptorGroup added to File Menu, Mail button, CG menu, and CaptorGroup popup menu on sidebar.
• Added “New NetCaptor” to File menu. This makes it easy to open a second instance of NetCaptor without setting the “allow multiple instances” option.

FIXES

• Double-erase bug affecting some WYSIWYG editors like the one used in VBulletin 3.
• Default browser associations are now reset automatically at end of trial period without uninstalling NetCaptor.
• NetCaptor will now shutdown correctly when Windows is shutting down and option to confirm application closing is true.
• Close/Close All buttons not visible at startup when NC not maxed
• Infrequent icon error message when loading tools menu first time
• Fixed problem where ALT + LEFT or RIGHT (causing forward or back navigation) could allow an onclose popup to show in IE as NetCaptor confused the ALT with an ALT + SHIFT + CLICK.
• Phantom tab bug when SHIFT+clicking javascript left.
