Software update: MyDefrag 4.0

Spread the love

Jeroen Kessels has released the final of his defragmenter MyDefrag 4.0 after twelve beta releases. Previously this program was called JkDefrag and was released under open source license. However, now it has become closed source freeware. What exactly has changed in version 4.0 is not entirely clear, because an overview with the differences between versions 3 and 4 is missing on the website. MyDefrag only has one download and still has the signature DOS screen. The defragmenter is script-driven and comes with a number of standard scripts included with the installation, such as Slow Optimize, Fast Update, and Analyze Only.
