Software Update: MSN Messenger 5.0

Version 5.0 of the popular chat client MSN Messenger has reached our newssubmit. It may not be called a changelog, but we could find these changes:

This new version includes:

Meet new friends through the MSN Member List. Find people with the same interests as you or find old friends via the MSN Member List.
All contacts in one address book. In My Address Book, you can easily add friends from your MSN or Hotmail address book to your Messenger contact list, and vice versa. Working with different lists is now a thing of the past.

Block spam
Want to block instant messages from people you don’t know? MSN Messenger can check if a message is from someone who is not in your contact list and ask whether you want to accept the message or not. You decide who you want to admit and who you don’t. [break] Windows 98/ME
