Software update: MonitorTest 2.2 build 1004

Passmark, known for BurnInTest, PerformanceTest and WirelessMon, among others, has just updated its monitor test program MonitorTest to version 2.2 build 1004. The program has about twenty-five different test screens on board where the different aspects of LCD, CRT and plasma screens can be tested. Below is an overview of all changes in the 2.2 series:

• Fixed some memory leaks

2.2 build 1003

• Minor dialog text changes

2.2 build 1002

• Fixed some dialog problems where elements weren’t being enabled and disabled at the right times
• Fixed a bug where invalid scripts could cause the wrong test to be run and MonitorTest to crash
• Added more warning messages when using an invalid script such as wrong number of parameters and incorrect video modes

2.2 build 1000

• Added scripting support for running test screens
• Added option to show display mode details during test
• Added 4 new test patterns
