Software Update: Miranda IM 0.8.25

Miranda IM was provided with an update to version 0.8.25 on Monday. This open source instant messaging program is only developed for Windows and offers standard support for ICQ, irc, MSN, AIM, Jabber and Yahoo, among others. The download is not even 1.8MB in size, which means you get a sober and light program. However, both the functionality and appearance of the program can be changed with more than 350 different add-ons and plug-ins be adjusted to your liking. This makes Miranda IM one of the most customizable IM clients for Windows. The changelog of this release shows the following changes and improvements:

  • Yahoo: Minor translation fixes
