Software Update: Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 14.4.1

Microsoft has released an update for Office 2011 for Mac. In addition to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Office 2011 for Mac also includes the Outlook email client for the first time. The office suite update for OS X, which lifts the version number to 14.4.1, is available in 11 different languages ​​and is approximately 113MB in size. The update is also offered via Microsoft AutoUpdate and in that case the download may be smaller. This update includes several improvements for Outlook.

• Improves synchronization of folder hierarchies added by using “Open Other User’s Folder” in Outlook for Mac

• Increases the data validation control capabilities in Excel for Mac
