Mesa is a spreadsheet program for the Mac OS X platform. It contains several worksheets and can be controlled with commands and functions, part of which corresponds to Excel. Mesa can read simple Excel files but does not support macros or ODBC links. After various calculations have been made on the data entered, you can create graphs and reports that you can use in, for example, Mail. Version 3.0.13 has recently been released for Mac OS X Tiger with the following changes:

This version contains the following enhancements:

Introduction of Zoom View feature, accessible via button at the bottom of the worksheet.
This option is not yet available via a menu option.
Note that Zoom View doesn’t affect print size – you can of course use the Report Tool to scale and smart-width your printouts.

Copy / Paste Charts into Mail messages (and some other applications). Note that in Tiger, to paste a Chart into an email you must choose the ‘Paste with Current Style’ Mail menu option instead of an ordinary Paste.
