Software update: MediaPortal 1.29

A new stable release from MediaPortal’s 1.x series has been released. With this program, a Windows machine can be used as the heart of the multimedia hardware in the living room. This makes it easy to listen to radio and music, as well as watch videos and DVDs. TV programs can also be recorded. By means of plug-ins and extensions, the functionality can be expanded and the look & feel of the program can be adjusted. The most important changes from this release are listed below:

Bug fixes:

• [MP1-5081] – WatchDog not switch Mediaportal log to Debug level
• [MP1-5082] – Error when MP restart
• [MP1-5086] – XMLTV Import error – An item with the same key has already been added.
• [MP1-5089] – MpurlSourceSplitter is lost when updating tvservice

New:

• [MP1-5070] – Handle large Music Playlists

Improvement / Rework:

• [MP1-5083] – Update Metadata Extractor to 2.6.0
• [MP1-5084] – Update MediaInfo.Wrapper to 21.3.4
• [MP1-5085] – Text controls changed to universal controls in TVZapOSD
• DWHD OSD update
• French language update
• [MP1-5088] – Automatic installation of .Net packages
• [MP1-5090] – Show OSD when displaying Pictures (with Settings)
• [MP1-5091] – Update Metadata Extractor to 2.7.0

Along with the above items we kept consolidating our software.
