Software Update: MDaemon 7.0.1

MDaemon is a mail server for the Windows platform with built-in antivirus and anti-spam capabilities, as well as support for plug-ins that enable remote management, web access and special monitoring functions. Recently, version 7.01 has been released in which, among other things, the virus recognition has been improved, it is now possible to block zip files that are provided with a password. In addition, the CFEngine has also been improved so that it takes up less RAM. The release notes show us the following list of fixes, among others:

• fix to several non-English translation errors
• fix to WorldClient javascript error in mailto links when viewing HTML messages in themes other than LookOut
• fix to MDCalendar.dll having an incorrect version number
• fix to MDUserCOM.dll having an incorrect version number
• fix to AV log text being reported when no AV installed
• fix to CF bug where modifications made to the message body may not occur
• fix to WC referencing ComAgent calendar updating
• fix to WC LookOut Groupware Calendar Week view not moving forward and backward correctly
• fix to WC contact creation problems
• fix to WC LookOut problem with public GroupWare Contacts folders when # is the public folder prefix
• fix to no AUTOHSCROLL style on archival recipient edit control
• fix to DNS messages containing file path clues
• fix to Stats log not having multiple SMTPI entries for multiple RCPTs
• fix to Stats log not having multiple SMTPO entries when route slips used
• fix to IMAP server SEARCH HEADER bug
• fix to WC memory leak when using ODBC user backend and the user requests the Options | Preferences page
