Software Update: McAfee Stinger 2.6.0

McAfee Stinger is a small antivirus program that can remove the most common viruses, trojans and worms from the system. The program is not a full antivirus program, but rather a handy tool that can clean up a Windows computer smoothly. Yesterday a new version of McAfee Stinger was released. The update is possible from here be downloaded and is numbered as 2.6.0 according to the site, but internally the version number has not yet been adjusted. The developers have made the following release notes available:
