Software Update: McAfee Stinger 2.5.0

Networks Associates Technology, formerly known as McAfee, has updated Avert Stinger to version 2.5.0. This small virus scanner is not a total anti-virus solution but intended for cleaning an infected Windows PC. It recognizes only 50 of the most common viruses, worms, and trojans, including all their variants. The changelog shows which new variants are recognized:
