Software Update: Maxthon 2.5.12 build 4586

Maxthon has already released two updates for version 2.5.12 of its web browser of the same name, which was released at the end of March. Maxthon is not a standalone browser, but a so-called wrapper, which is like a shell around Internet Explorer. The program uses IE’s internal engine to display web pages, but has its own interface with many extras functionality, including mouse gestures and online bookmarks. The two updates were released to fix some issues that cropped up after the final’s release:

Update 2:
Fixed a crash problem which happens in some systems after running Maxthon for a while.

Update 1:
Maxthon 2.5.12 is updated to 2.5.12.4551 to fixed some crash problems, mostly under Windows XP, on opening new tabs, closing Maxthon, closing other browsers, and adding favorites.
