Software update: Maxthon 1.0.0170 beta

Maxthon is the new name of the program MyIE2 and has recently welcomed a new version with this time 1.0.0170 beta as the version number. The browser uses an engine that is based on the Internet Explorer engine. In addition, the browser skinnablehas it tabbed browsinga ad and popup blocker and provides additional protection with regard to the privacy† The program is available in two variants; the standard version only has the basic skin and two plugins, while the combo version comes with six skins and six plugins. The changelog tells us the following:

• Non-image extension URL image won’t show up(most security images)
• Show Hidden File in Favorite options won’t work
