Software Update: Manjaro Linux 21.0.2

Manjaro Linux is a Linux distribution based on Arch Linux. The focus is on user-friendliness and simplicity. It can be run with an Xfce, KDE or Gnome desktop environment and it comes standard with a large number of applications. Manjaro Linux uses so-called rolling releases and uses Pacman as its package manager. Version 21.0.2 of Manjaro Linux has just been released and its changelog looks like this:

  • Bluez got updated to 5.58 9
  • Plasma and KDE Frameworks got updated to their latest stable releases
  • LibreOffice got updated to 7.1.2 8
  • PipeWire is now at 0.3.25 23
  • A lot of KDE-Dev package updates
  • Other regular upstream updates including python and haskell
