Software update: Mailwasher Pro 3.10

E-Vix was the first to point out a new release of the anti-spam program Mailwasher. This brings us to version 3.10 of this software. Mailwasher Free users who have made a donation to the creators can update to the pro version for free. You can update that by this link to follow. The main new features are:

Added an option to run MailWasher Pro on system start-up.

Added an option to minimize MailWasher Pro to tray on application start.

Added an option to minimize MailWasher Pro to tray on ‘Process Mail’.

Added an option to minimize instead of close MailWasher Pro when X pressed.

Added an option for small buttons.

Added an option to remove button captions.

Added an option to force email check even if MailWasher Pro thinks there is no connection.

Added a spam throttle option so user can select how many lines of each message to download by default.

Added hotkey for ‘Process Mail’ function (F6).

Added hotkey for ‘Launch email application’ function (F7).

Added hot key to toggle all hidden messages visible (Ctrl-F8).

Added hot key for show/hide preview pane (Ctrl-F6).

Added hot key for show/hide Filter Bar (Ctrl-F7).

Added SSL Support.

Added SSL/SMTP default port on 465.

Added DNS status bar.

Added a ‘Display’ tab to the options form and moved display related options onto it.

Email read information is now stored by MailWasher Pro. Emails that have been previewed in MailWasher Pro are ‘read’. Emails that have not been previewed are ‘unread’.

Option to display ‘unread’ emails in bold, and/or a user-specified colour.

Option to display emails that have been ‘read’. Unselecting this option hides emails marked ‘read’.
