Software Update: Linux Kernel 2.4.30

Linux Kernel 2.4.30 has been released to the general public by Marcelo Tosatti and, as usual, contains a whole bunch of tweaks and improvements. The list of changes from version 2.4.29 is up this place to be seen in all its glory. The following four vulnerabilities have been resolved according to the changelog:

CAN-2005-0384: Remote Linux DoS on ppp servers
CAN-2005-0400: ext2 mkdir() directory entry random kernel memory leak
CAN-2005-0750: Fix af_bluetooth range checking bug
CAN-2005-0794: Potential DOS in load_elf_library
