Software Update: Linux Kernel 2.0.40
A new Linux Kernel has been spotted on Kernel.org. This time it concerns a new stable build of the 2.0 branch. The previous version 2.0.39 dates from January 9, 2001. The release notes look like this:
2.0.40-rc8 was released as 2.0.40 with no changes.
