Software update: Lavasoft Personal Firewall 1.0

Lavasoft has come up with a new product, namely a firewall. The product goes through life under the name Lavasoft Personal Firewall, but it seems as if Lavasoft itself is not quite sure what they want with it. According to the website, it is not only intended for home users, but also for small and medium-sized businesses. Furthermore, Windows 2000 is missing from the list of supported operating systems, but it does appear in the product data sheet. That does not apply to Windows Me, but there is a good chance that the program is suitable for this. Lavasoft Personal Firewall also has all the features that can be expected from a modern firewall; protection against Internet worms, Trojan horses, hijackers and identity theft. Since this is the first release of this program there is no changelog.

Lavasoft Personal Firewall, is targeted for small and medium-sized business organizations and home users, providing seamless and powerful protection for both.
