Software Update: LAV Filters 0.76.1

Version 0.76.1 of the LAV Filters has been released. The LAV Filters are a collection of open source DirectShow filters, which allow the most common formats of audio and video to be played in a media player of your choice. It is part of the K-Lite Codec Pack and the Combined Community Codec Pack, among others. In addition, there are also media players that already have it on board, such as Media Player Classic – Home Cinema and VLC Media Player. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

LAV Splitter

• Changed: When requesting a HTTP URL, the URL itself is send as a referrer to increase compatibility
• Fixed: The priority of “Default” subtitle tracks in MKV files was wrong when a forced track was present

LAV Videos

• Changed: Improved color reporting for DVD menus/subtitles
• Fixed: D3D11 surface clearing did not work properly on Intel GPUs
