K3b is a user-friendly burning program for the Linux platform. Creating data, audio, video, eMovix, and mixed mode CDs is no problem, as well as CD and DVD ripping capabilities and support for KParts plugins. Version 0.11.6 i18n has recently been released with the following release notes:

Like I promised the K3b 0.11.6 i18n package is ready. I also fixed some minor issues.

• Fixed length calculation for long FLAC files.
• Allow Audio CDs that violate the Red Book standard (Tracks shorter than 4 seconds).
• Some improvements in disk-info retrieval (hopefully fixing some issues.
