Software Update: jv16 PowerTools 2005 1.5.0.276

Macecraft Software has recently released two new versions of jv16 PowerTools 2005 in quick succession, bringing the version number to 1.5.0.276. This program is intended for cleaning the registry and fine-tuning the PC in general. The changelog for the two released versions looks like this:

Version 1.5.0.276 contains the following changes:

• The new version contains new translations, updates to the old translations and some minor interface improvements.

Version 1.5.0.275 contains the following changes:

• The Duplicate Finder sometimes grouped the files in a wrong way, for example files of 3 KB could be in a group of 2 KB files. All the found files were still duplicates, the problem was only in the user interface
• Password protection feature didn’t work with certain types of passwords, it didn’t let users to enter even with the correct password
• The “Always ask me for a description” backup mode didn’t work, instead asking the user it automatically generated the backup’s description
• The Registry Manager didn’t open as maximized even if it was maximized when you closed it, this bug is now fixed
• Added minor safety improvements to the Registry Cleaner engine
• Some translations have been updated
