Software Update: Intel Chipset Device Software 10.0.27

Intel has released new chipset drivers. These are motherboards equipped with an Intel series 9, 100, c600, c610, 8900, s1200, d1500 and c2000 chipset, and processors from the Atom, Celeron, Core M and Pentium family, and the Core from the second generation. The driver has been given version number 10.0.27 and is suitable for Windows 7 and higher. The release notes make mention of support for the new Skylake Series 100 chipset.

The Intel Chipset Device Software contains support for the following:

  • 6th Generation Intel Core processor family
  • Intel Core M processor family
  • 5th Generation Intel Core processor family
  • 4th Generation Intel Core processor family
  • 3rd Generation Intel Core processor family
  • 2nd Generation Intel Core processor family
  • Intel 100 Series chipset
  • Intel 9 series chipset
  • Intel C610 series chipset
  • Intel C600 series chipset
  • Intel Communications Chipset 8900 series
  • Intel Atom Processor C2000 product family
  • Intel Atom Processor S1200 product family
  • Intel Xeon Processor D-1500 product family

New Features

  • Added YBR for many BDX devices.
  • Removed USB devices YBR (except A22F)
  • CAT file path fixed in MUP.xml
  • Added support for 6th Gen Intel Core and Intel 100 Series chipset family

Known Issues

  • Branding doesn’t work with Microsoft Windows 10×64 and Microsoft Windows 10 update.
