Software update: gxine 0.5.1

The gxine program is the GTK front end for xine, an open source multimedia player for GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, Irix, and Mac OS X. The program can play CDs, DVDs, and VCDs, as well as play avi, mov, wmv, and mp3 files and also multimedia streams from the internet are no problem at all. Version 0.5.1 has been released by the developers with the following changes:

UI improvements and bug fixes. Well, mostly… Some bits of the UI now either look better, work better or even both; the Javascript interface has been extended a little to help with this. And there are two changes which you should notice immediately 🙂
