Elias Torres has a new version of Gtray on his weblog posted† The software is tagged 2.0.17 and comes with six improvements over the previous release. Gtray is able to notify you when you Gmail account got a new email. The 2.0.17 release has the following changes:

Fixed Focus Bug!

No longer I show “Encryption Error” dialogs

Fixed bug where I always checked for mail anyway

Fixed bug where I wiped your stored login cookie for GMail when using IE

Added options for Sounds and Balloons

Added basic mailto: URL handling as per Mike[break]
