Download GSpot 2.5 beta 7
GSpot has released a new beta version of its eponymous tool for analyzing avi, mpeg and vob files. For example, it indicates which audio and video codecs have been used and whether they are on the system, the bitrate and the number of frames per second of the image and much more. In addition, it can also provide an overview of all codecs installed on the system. GSpot 2.5 beta 7 has the following changes from the previous release:
Changes in version 2.5 beta 7:

- Items exportable individually (independent or display grouping).
- Spreadsheet friendly – no extraneous text on numeric fields.
- See additional notes on sample file ExportFormat.txt, included.
- Added in-place light green “cell tips” for text that doesn’t fit.
- Changed the word “stream” to “container” when describing the outer, multiplexed “delivery” format.
- Fixed bug which caused AC3 audio to always display as “split”.
- Added support for identifying raw AAC audio streams (ADIF or ADTS).
