Software update: Google Picasa 3.6 build 105.61

Google released an update to Picasa on Tuesday. This program allows you to easily manage, edit and put photos online. The program offers options for straightening the horizon, fine-tuning the contrast and making a crop of a photo. Another fun feature is facial recognition. This makes it possible to quickly show all photos that contain a specific person. No new features have been added in this release. However, stability has been improved and some problems have been fixed:

• Increased stability through multiple crash fixes.
• Fixed translation errors.
• Several backup fixes including:
  • Disk-to-disk backup
  • Filtering previously backed up folders
  • Selecting the correct backup set in list
