The developers of Google have through their weblog announced that they have a new extension released for the Firefox web browser. This extension has been given the name Google Browser Sync and is able to store browser data such as bookmarks, history, persistent cookies, tabs, windows and saved passwords in a separate Google Account, so that it can be provided on any other computer running Firefox. of your own bookmarks, cookies and saved passwords. When Browser Sync is launched for the first time, the extension prompts you to enter a password that is used to encrypt browser data before putting it on Google’s servers. You will also be asked for the password when synchronizing the browser data on another computer.
