Software Update: Gnome 2.6.2

The guys behind the multi-platform desktop environment Gnome have released a new point release of the 2.6 branch. In version 2.6.2 the necessary bugs have been squashed and new features have been added to make it more pleasant to use. This point release from the stable branch of the GNOME Desktop and Developer Platform contains a lot of bug fixes and improvements over the previously released 2.6.1 version. Our maintainers, bugfixers, translators and general contributors have been hard at work for the last couple of months bringing more polish, stability and performance to your favorite desktop environment.
