Software Update: FreeFileSync 11.25

Spread the love

Version 11.25 of FreeFileSync has been released. This open source program can back up or synchronize content from two different locations. It’s available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, doesn’t rely on things like Java or a .Net Framework, and is light to use. The Windows download includes separate 32bit and 64bit versions, and also offers the option to use it without installing it first. This version comes only three days after the previous release, so the changelog only shows a small collection of bug fixes:

Changes in FreeFileSync version 11.25:

  • Fixed crash when normalizing Unicode non-characters
  • Fixed crash when accessing Google Drive
  • Fixed regulation for decomposed Unicode comparison
  • Fixed “exit code 106: –sign is required” error on macOS
  • Reset icon cache after each comparison
