Software Update: FreeFileSync 11.11

Version 11.11 of FreeFileSync has been released. This open source program can be used to back up or synchronize content from two different locations. It’s available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, doesn’t rely on things like Java or a .Net Framework, and it’s lightweight to use. The Windows installer includes separate 32bit and 64bit versions, and also offers the option of using a portable version. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Changes in FreeFileSync version 11.11:

  • Fixed Shared Drive synchronization with Google Drive
  • Directly open exported file list (.CSV) as temporary file
  • Avoid EIO error for F_PREALLOCATE (macOS)
  • Watch socket using “poll” instead of “select” (Linux, macOS)
  • Fixed user-specific time/date format (Windows)
  • Fixed system_profiler not found error (macOS)
