Software Update: Fraps 3.2.2

Beepa has once again released a new version of Fraps, the second update before the version 3.2.0 that was released earlier this week. This program can be used to take screenshots and record video games. It is also possible to show the number of frames per second and thus measure performance. All in all, useful if the game doesn’t support this itself or has implemented these features only moderately. Fraps has support for both DirectX and OpenGL. This release fixes the following three issues:

Changes in version 3.2.2:

  • Fixed trouble opening movies with VLC, Avidemux, AVI synth, Virtualdub and some other applications
  • Fixed problem capturing stereoscopic movies at 1920×1080 and 1920×1200
  • Fixed loop recordings sometimes becoming corrupted
