Software Update: Foobar 0.7.2

Spread the love

The creator of the program Foobar2000, Peter Pawlowski, has once again delighted us with a new version of this popular audio player. With this software it is possible to play different kinds of audio formats. Also, a 64-bit floating point decoder is used instead of the usual 16-bit decoder. In the changelog we find the following changes:

0.7.2:

  • fixed minor resource leak when restarting playback
  • added process priority slider in preferences
  • more replaygain scanner improvements – more natively supported samplerates, option to skip files already having rg info is back, custom album grouping, etc
  • fixed replaygain scanner bugs with 5.1 source
  • fixed rare crash in faded dsound
  • corrected minor problem with clicking system tray icon with certain settings
  • fixed bug in EQ code
  • added new multiselection file info box
