Software update: ffdshow 2004-07-25 alpha

On the Sourceforge page of ffdshow is a new official alpha version released of the DirectShow filter. The update is numbered 2004-07-25 alpha and from here to take down. This program can play DivX, XviD, WMV, MPEG1, and MPEG2 files. Ffdshow uses the libav codec from the ffmpeg project for video decompression, mplayer’s postprocessing code for improved visual quality of low bitrate files, and is based on XviD’s original DirectShow filter.
